By faith Sarah herself also received strength to conceive seed, and she bore a child when she was past the age, because she judged Him faithful who had promised. – Hebrews 11:11
REFERENCE
Hebrews 11:11
Are you in that place in life where you feel you can no longer produce something tangible because of how hard you have tried in the past without commensurate results to show for your efforts? Is life telling you to give up on your dreams because time seems no longer favorable to you? Well there is good news for you today; God isn’t done with you yet!
Sarah lived in obscurity for most of her life, but at the age of 90 she became known because of what God did in her life. She rose to stardom and made history, at a time when it seemed nothing meaningful could come out of her again. This shows, It is never too late for anybody, educated or not, rich or poor, to have their dreams fulfilled as long as God is in the equation.
Don’t let the prevailing philosophy of society deter you, e.g. beliefs like: people your age or gender find it hard to get employment, you are too old to have children, you don’t have the experience to float and run a successful enterprise, you are not qualified for that top position, etc.
These can be facts when you look at your situation analytically; however, they do not represent the BIG picture of things because there is a God-factor to be considered, and He holds all the aces.
What made the difference in Sarah’s case is that, she chose to judge God faithful despite her situation. Can you still believe God will make good His promises in your life despite the fact that it seems you do not have the strength or years on your side for what you desire?
