It is good for workers to have an appetite; an empty stomach drives them on. – Proverbs 16:26 (NLT)

REFERENCE
Proverbs 16:26

The difference between those who are just alive and those who are living is ‘purpose.’ Purpose is the reason for which a thing exists. A chair is not like a table because of its purpose. Your purpose is what you were created for. When anything in creation fulfils its purpose, it brings glory to God.

Nothing matters more than knowing God’s purpose for your life and nothing can compensate for not knowing it. So, let me ask you, how hungry are you to discover God’s purpose for you and to fulfill it?

You will never discover your purpose until you are hungry enough to know it. ‘Hunger’ is a strong and passionate desire for anything and it is your hunger that will determine what comes to you in life.

A common approach people have to life is “I just want to live day by day and see what happens.” Meanwhile, “a quality life of impact does not just happen by chance; it begins with a deep search and a hunger to know the reason for living… your life’s purpose.”

Perhaps, you may already know your God ordained purpose in life, so the question is, ‘how hungry are you in fulfilling it?’ Every believer represents God on the earth, to shine as lights in the darkness, through their God ordained platforms (Matthew 5:14-16).

Are you where God wants you to be, doing the things He wants you to do? Are you just alive or truly living? If you want real satisfaction out of life, hungrily search, discover and start fulfilling God’s purpose for your life.
