Matthew 1:18-23 (KJV)
The greatest significance of Jesus’ coming is that the God of heaven has chosen to tabernacle with men; we are now God’s temple. For that reason, we no longer need to go up to Moses’ Tent, David’s Tabernacle or Solomon’s Temple like they did in the Old Testament in order to meet with God. Through Jesus’ coming, God has moved headquarters to our ‘zone;’ He now lives in us.
The utmost assurance a man can have is to know He has God’s presence with/in him. Hebrews 13:5 says, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” This means, His ever abiding presence is with you and for you at all times. It also means He is concerned about you and involved in the affairs of your life. No wonder the apostle Paul said, “If God be for us, who can be against us?” (Romans 8:31).
Because God is with you and for you, He will be a present help for you in trouble. He will give you victory in battle, supply your need according to His riches in glory, protect you from evil, lead you to the best pathway for your life, etc. God is not like man, who is here-today-gone-tomorrow. He is totally committed to you; He is to you a Friend that sticks closer than a brother and you cannot sink or be stranded because He who lives in you can never sink or be stranded.
As a believer, you must walk in the consciousness that you are not ordinary because God is in you; and you are never alone even when you feel lonely. All of hell knows it and demons tremble because of this truth. You are a partaker of God’s divine nature – Emmanuel, God is with you, and that makes all the difference in life; it raised you to sit in heavenly places with Christ Jesus, and has put you in the God-class! Hallelujah!

CONFESSION
I boldly declare that God is with me and for me; therefore I am not afraid of what man can do to me. God is a very help for me in trouble, He is a friend who sticks closer than a brother and I will never sink or be stranded in life because I am seated with Him in heavenly places above all powers in Jesus’ name.
