He who tills his land will be satisfied with bread, But he who follows frivolity is devoid of understanding. – Proverbs 12:11

Proverbs 12:11,27
Yesterday, we concluded with the thought that, for everything that is raw, there is a potential for it to become something useful after it has gone through the process of refining; this is how life operates.
Those who refined their God given potentials stand out from the crowd; those who cannot be bothered, are seldom known because just having a gift doesn’t guarantee success. If you choose to refine your gifts therefore, you have to put yourself through some basic processes.
Firstly, you have to identify the area where you are very good and stick with it. An area where you can be a big fish in a small pond, rather than a small fish in a big pond where bigger fishes will always overshadow you.
Secondly, faithfully learn under an expert in your field. Don’t be in a hurry to start your own thing with half-baked knowledge, you will only produce mediocrity.
Thirdly, Read and learn about your gift. Read up about your industry and how people excel in it. Get exposed, travel and see what others are doing. Always look out for latest trends online to freshen up your ideas. Fourthly, go for trainings. Sit under authorities in your field to enable you have a sharper cutting edge.
The fifth thing is to keep practicing, because ‘champions are not made on the day of the competition but on the days of practice. ‘E.g. David had been practicing his fighting skills on the lion and the bear, that was why he wasn’t afraid to fight a giant.
