Through prayers, many have accomplished untold miracles, impossible situations have been reversed and doors of favor have been opened to people. Daniel stayed in the place of prayer till he received help from the angel of God who conquered the prince of Persia (Daniel 10:10-14). Paul and Silas prayed until the gate to the prison was shaken and their chains loosed (Acts 16:25-33). The king’s decree against the Jews was reversed when Esther and Mordecai fasted and prayed (Esther 4&7).
The language of prayer is a universal password for every door that you will come across. Remember, there are forces of darkness that contend with you, e.g. the idol worshippers that ganged up against Paul at Ephesus (Acts19:21-31). Their intention is to frustrate and stop you from entering the doors to total-life prosperity God has ordained for you, but as you rise up in prayers, they will bow and submit to your authority.
However, to prevail over them, your prayers firstly must rest on God’s word. Secondly, it must be done in faith. Thirdly, it must be made in the name of Jesus. Fourthly, it must seek to give God glory and lastly, you must pray boldly as one who has been given spiritual authority – from a position of strength and not as a beggar.
Don’t let the adversaries stop your advancement. PRAY!
