Yesterday we left off saying, the first thing to do in achieving success in life is ‘seeing yourself as successful’ (having a vision of success) because that is how God sees and made you. Today’s text focuses on possessing what you can see, i.e. as far as you can dare to see it, God will take you there, just like He did for Abraham and his descendants.
Thus, the 2nd thing you need in achieving success in life is ‘HAVING AND PURSUING GREAT DREAMS.’ A dream is simply ‘an inspiring picture of your future that energizes your mind, will and emotions.’ Don’t be afraid to have big dreams and don’t be limited by what you see now. Your circumstances may right now not be favorable, but that can’t stop you from succeeding in the long run, if your dreams are based on the promises in the word of God.
Don’t accept where you are today as the final chapter of your life. Dare to be an outstanding success. God wants to conform you into His plan for your life, co-operate with Him. He wants you to be a success like Jesus, that is why He is waiting on you to make a move towards success. So quit complaining about what is not working out well or who you don’t know and start setting and pursuing those dreams that look too colossal to achieve.
Remember, it is as far as you can see that God will make happen. He can never be intimidated by the size of dream, rather it will give Him pleasure that you believe in Him enough to dream big!
