Our God is the God of salvation; And to GOD the Lord belong escapes from death. – Psalm 68:20
If you cannot thank God for what you received, THANK GOD FOR WHAT YOU ESCAPED. I tell people that when we get to heaven, and God gives us a ‘visual’ review of our lives on earth, then we will see things God protected and delivered us from; many we knew nothing about – how we escaped food poisoning, came late to a spot on the road just after a robbery, a nice house you wanted to rent but couldn’t raise the money for, not knowing that the ‘supposed agents’ were fraudsters; demonic spiritual forces that were fought back by angels while you slept, etc.
If you are reading this today, you are a survivor, NO, a victor. You stand today because the Lord has been on your side, if not, that problem at work would have swallowed you up, the money you lost in that investment would have drowned you and that betrayal would have ruined everything you built over the years. When your car tyre gave way while on top speed and the car somersaulted, it was meant to be the end, but THE LORD STOOD BY YOU…ANGELS WERE ON GUARD…you experienced a great deliverance.
What did you escape this year? What was that situation that was so bad but God rescued you from? In fact, for some of you, it is hard to answer these questions because you didn’t come close to any bad thing this year – no near accidents, no sickness to get healed from, no kidnapping or armed robbery around you or extended family members, your children went to school every day and returned safely, they never went to the hospital, etc. You belong to another category of testifiers – those who have experienced DIVINE PROTECTION!
No matter what your story is, on this last day of our#12DaysOfThanksgiving countdown, #iDareYou to take out some time to thank God for what you escaped, and the evil/calamities you never saw this year. O, I wish you will open your mouth and declare with the Psalmist, “My God is the God of salvation (deliverance, rescue, redemption & healing); and unto Him belong ESCAPES FROM DEATH!”
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

PRAYER POINTS
Lord I just want to say ‘thank you’ for all the ‘near misses’ and for the overall preservation of my life and of those connected to me. It could only have been You. Your name be glorified forever more.
