…This day is a day of trouble, and rebuke, and blasphemy; for the children have come to (the place of) birth, but there is no strength to bring them forth. – 11 Kings 19:3
REFERENCE
II Kings 19:1-7
Although the verse above is just an illustration King Hezekiah gave of how powerless Israel was against her strong Assyrian enemy, it teaches a significant truth nonetheless – the truth that it is possible for a woman to come to the place or time of birth and lack the strength to bring or push forth the baby.
I know you must have seen or heard of many instances of miscarriages in pregnancy, still births, (pre)eclampsia (high blood pressure and other related complications) in mothers, etc. In other words, for a woman to go into labor and bring forth a child with no complications, or go in for a cesarean section and come out with a child or children, is nothing short of a monumental miracle.
Scriptures make us understand that there is a serpent who is at enmity with the seed of the woman (Genesis 3:15) and who is always ready to swallow up every child at birth (Revelation 12:4). It therefore takes more than will power, good diet, medical expertise or personal righteousness to conceive and bring forth a child – it takes ‘Divine Strength.’
Preterm, cesarean section, normal delivery, inducement, epidural, surrogacy, etc., however a mother eventually births and holds her child is nothing short of a miracle – every child birth is SUPERNATURAL!
Therefore, if you have a child or children, if you ever went to the labor room or surgical theatre and came out with your child, you have received a great miracle from God. Even if your child is adopted, it is still because that child went through the birth canal at some point and survived the onslaught of the ‘dragon’ – the devil.
This thanksgiving, you are one in a hundred people who would like to have this same miracle, so don’t carry on as though God has not done something unforgettable for you – GIVE HIM AN UNFORGETTABLE THANKS.
Share your supernatural childbirth testimony and share this with another friend, daring them to share their own testimony too.
