And the angel of the LORD appeared to him, and said to him, ‘The LORD is with you, you mighty man of valor!’ – Judges 6:12
REFERENCE
Judges 6:11-16
God called Gideon, “Mighty man of valor,” when all around him, things were not adding up but rather falling apart. It looked like a contradiction but God has a way of talking to us about where we are going to and not what we are going through.
We saw that play out in the life of the patriarch Abraham; God called him “Father of all nations” even when it looked like he couldn’t bear children.
In the same vein, God looks at you too today, in the midst of the ‘not enough,’ ‘fear,’ ‘worries,’ ‘heartaches,’ ‘troubles,’ and all other ‘inadequacies’ of yours and He is saying to you – ‘I AM with you thou President of the nation,’ ‘Thou fruitful vine,’ ‘Thou employer of labor,’ ‘Thou artist of the year,’ ‘Thou landlord/landlady,’ ‘Thou prophet to the nations,’ ‘Thou scientist,’ ‘Thou billionaire,’ ‘Thou happily married,’ etc.
God sees you as a person of great prospects and prosperity because He knows your end from the beginning.
This trait of ‘calling things that are not as though they are’ is a trait we must learn to imbibe. I encourage you today to be like God, to boldly talk about where you are going to and not what you are going through.
As you are faithful to comply, God is also faithful to perform His words in your life.
Have a Marvelous Monday!
