A popular adage says, “Nobody stones a fruitless tree.” This means, if you don’t matter at all or if there is nothing to you, you won’t need to fight any battles. The presence of contest in your life is proof that you have prospects; otherwise, Satan won’t bother discouraging you. You are a bag of seeds, with a divine code to be fruitful and multiply. There is more to you than meets the eye; so, even if you are presently in a bad place, there is still more to you – carry yourself like someone going somewhere. For this reason, it is important that you don’t give up or resign, but keep pressing on – “Be unstoppable!”
To be unstoppable is to be incapable of being stopped or prevented; it is to be unbeatable and unconquerable. An unstoppable person is always on the move in spite of prevalent conditions. He is undeterred by setbacks, for his eyes are on the goal. He is too consumed by what is possible and what he is yet to accomplish that He is not broken by the present. He is assured that God is for him and has got his back.
Of course, life throws challenges at us – the enemy throws discouragement at us, but an unstoppable person always makes a decision to continue. He moves from failure to failure without losing enthusiasm. He takes a licking and keeps on ticking. He is like a boxer knocked to the floor, who repeatedly stands up until he wins the fight.
Apostle Paul was an unstoppable person – he was stoned, but got up again, shipwrecked but swam to safety, bitten by a snake, but simply shook it off, persecuted but lost no enthusiasm, driven out by the Jews, he went to the Gentiles, kept in a dungeon but sang praises at midnight, confined in Rome but preached for two years until the time of his ‘departure.’ Like Paul, you might be passing through difficulties today, but you must decide to be unstoppable. Below are some reasons why you should be unstoppable:
a. The enemy is not necessarily moved by your dream or vision. All he wants is to kill your passion. If you lose your passion or drive, everything else stops.
b. You can only be stopped when you decide to stop. It’s in your hands.
c. The pressure to stop is the pointer to the fact that there are pleasures ahead.
d. It is in your decision to continue in spite of discouragement that you build the capacity to handle the future glory (Romans 8:18).
e. If you stop, you will never know what’s possible, what’s available and what’s obtainable!!
