CALL TO PRAYER

“It shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are still speaking, I will hear. – Isaiah 65:24

God desires to do great things in our lives. The bible makes us understand that we have God’s full attention even before we pray. He is aware of what is in our hearts and is ready to answer even before we speak. It still behooves us as Sons to call on Him. Prayer allows us to align ourselves to God’s will; it opens our spirit man to His will and purposes, such that when we pray, we see the hand of God move.

When the spiritual man prays, he receives insight and foresight that the unbeliever does not understand. They are not privy to the Lord’s thoughts because they do not discuss with Him, and so cannot move His hands by prayer. However, as Christians, we have the mind of Christ; when we pray according to His will, He hears us and is ready to perform His Word.

Armed with the knowledge that God hears us, let us pray:

–           Against Evil/Trouble: (Proverbs 12:21a) “No grave trouble will overtake the righteous…” Lord, no weapon formed against me shall prosper. I declare that no harmful, terrible or disturbing event will happen around my family and me. I declare over my family this year: NO CAUSE FOR ALARM.

–           For Favor: (Psalm 5:12) “For You, O Lord, will bless the righteous; with favor, You will surround him as with a shield.” Lord, surround me with Your favor like a dress/shield. I command favor upon me on my job, in my business and with my partners, in my political or career pursuits, for my advancement and multiplication!

–           For Success in all Endeavors: (Isaiah 3:10) “Say to the righteous that it shall be well with them, For they shall eat the fruit of their doings.” I declare that I see and partake of the fruits of all my endeavors and investments. My business prospers. I will not labor and another eat;  I will not sow much and bring in little.

–           For Recompense: (James 5:4) “Indeed the wages of the laborers who mowed your fields, which you kept back by fraud, cry out; and the cries of the reapers have reached the ears of the Lord of Sabaoth.” Lord, let my money, accrued rights, and allotments unjustly kept back cry out to you today. Proverbs 12:14b “The recompense of a man’s hands will be rendered to him.”

The Lord is not too weak to save you. He is All-Powerful, The Lord of Hosts, Jehovah Sabaoth! He hears you!
