“…then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it…” – Genesis 1:28a
REFERENCE:
The spirit of the Blessing is a spirit of fruitfulness. ‘Be Fruitful!’ was the major component and the foundation of the blessing God invoked on man. Therefore, it is crucial to understand this very basic component of the blessing – fruitfulness. Why? Without fruitfulness, you cannot multiply, you cannot fill the earth (or your world), you cannot subdue it, and you cannot have dominion. Every time God blessed, fruitfulness was the foundation of the blessing.
In Genesis 9:1, when blessing Noah and his sons, God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth.” To Ishmael, He said, “Behold, I have blessed him, and will make him fruitful, and will multiply him exceedingly. He shall beget twelve princes, and I will make him a great nation,” Genesis 17:20. In Psalm 1:3, the blessed man is like a fruitful tree along a riverbank bearing juicy fruits each season without fail; his leaves never wither, and all he does prospers.
The blessing of fruitfulness is an all-around blessing, and not only having children. Scriptures show us the different dimensions of what God meant when He said, “Be fruitful!” Let’s see:
- Fruits of the womb (children) – Psalm 127:3
- Fruits of the thoughts (creative ideas) – Jeremiah 6:19
- Fruits of the mouth (words) – Proverbs 18:20
- Fruits of the hands (work/labor) – Proverbs 31:31
- Fruit of the Spirit (character) – Galatians 5:22-23
The blessing of fruitfulness then is God’s power to turn a man’s life around, to give him generational and geographical recognition and impact. Isaac demonstrated the blessing of fruitfulness when he sowed in a land of famine and reaped a hundred-fold harvest. He became so rich that he was unstoppable, and his contemporaries envied him.
You are blessed not cursed, and it is irreversible. It does not matter who does not like you, God calls you fruitful. I, therefore, decree that you will experience all-around fruitfulness. The blessing of fruitfulness will turn your famine into abundance; it will bring the rain of blessings on all your good efforts, it will cause your body to bring forth seed according to God’s plan, and you will come up with creative solutions and remarkable ideas. It will turn you into an honorable, respected, and superrich person whom the world will stand to celebrate, in Jesus’ name.

CONFESSION
The blessing of fruitfulness is upon me. I am like a tree planted by the waters, always fruitful and ever fresh. Deserts are turning into fruitful fields for me. Rocks are bringing out water for me. Famine is giving way to rain in my life. Barrenness gives way to fruitfulness, and lack surrenders to abundance. I am fruitful in my spirit, health, marriage, children, career, academics, finances, and character. I am a blessed man; I cannot be cursed. The world will soon pause to recognize and celebrate the fruits of the blessings of God upon my life, in Jesus’ name.
Amennnn!
For I am like a fruitful tree bearing fruit all season without fail!
