“Who, contrary to hope, in hope believed, so that he became the father of many nations, according to what was spoken, ‘So shall your descendants be.’” ~ Romans 4:18
REFERENCE:
Can you believe God to do what He has promised even when everything around you says it won’t happen? Abraham had all the odds stacked against him and his wife; there was no natural sign that they would still have a child in their late eighties and nineties, but Abraham said, “I believe still.” He hoped against hope; that is, he believed God when the situation was hopeless.
Hope in God is not merely wishful thinking; it is absolute belief, confident expectation, or firm assurance in what God has promised. When an honorable and wealthy man tells you he will do something, you will often thank them, expecting to receive what he promised. How they will do it does not concern you because the person can perform based on their history.
Why would a man have hope when all hope is lost, and the figures say otherwise? Why should Abraham believe he would father a child by Sarah? It is because God does not consult anyone to fulfill His promise in your life. Also, God has a proven track record, “For no good thing will he withhold from those who work uprightly.” God gets excited when we believe Him still.
Therefore, in whatever area you want to see the promises of God fulfilled today, whether it is salvation for a rebellious child, supply of money for a bill that is long overdue, healing for the pain you have in your body, living in a hostile house, freedom from addiction, visa to travel abroad to join your family, peace in your troubled marriage, money to pay children’s fees, etc.
Given the above positions, say, “I Believe Still.” The evidence you see may not be the fruit you want to see, but do you believe that the Son of Man can do it? He told Moses to tell the children of God, “Peace, be still!” Those who wait on God shall renew their strength. Like Abraham, build absolute belief and trust in God’s promises even in the face of hopelessness; that is the secret to unlocking God’s promises in your life.

PRAYER:
+ Pray that your hope will no longer be deferred but that you will see your desires come true, even in areas that seem hopeless today.
+ Look at that area of your life where you are dealing with delays and disappointments, and say, “I believe still. “
+ Lord, be it unto me according to Your word. It is not too late, my case is not too hopeless, and I will not be a statistic of a failed life, marriage, business, or career.
