REFERENCE:
We began to look at what you can expect to see in your life this year as you commit to giving attention to God and His divine promptings by the Holy Spirit, through the ministry of His prophets, and by wise counsel. The promise of God to you is that “It gets better from here.” The tangibility of those words will be manifest in your life this year in the following ways:
a. The scent of favor shall be all over you: Most of what God will do for you will come through men. Samuel told Saul that he would meet some men of means, and they would greet and give him from their substance. That is favor demonstrated. God will cause men of influence and affluence to feel a strong need to give to you and aid you in your journey. They will be strategically positioned on your way to fulfillment this year, and you will collide with them.
b. Elevation & Promotion: Samuel said, “After that, you shall come to the hill of God where the Philistine garrison is.”Hills represent positions of societal influence. God will give you hills and mountains. Expect accelerated promotion in your organization; you will be made to sit on seats you used to look at from afar. Although the hill was the hill of God, the Philistines were there. God will give you places once occupied by enemies/the ungodly. He will set a table for you in the presence of enemies. They may not like you in your office or the mall where you do business, yet God will lift you against all odds. He will anoint you for honor.
c. Complete Makeover: Samuel told Saul that all these experiences would turn him into another man. When those who knew Saul formerly saw him, they said, “What is this that has come upon the son of Kish? Is Saul also among the prophets?” (vs.11). He was a completely different man. This year, God will change your story for the better; He will bring you into new companies and better associations and cause the great to court your friendship or seek your expertise. When God is done, you will become another man. You will see a clear difference between your 2023 and 2024 version. The zeal of the Lord will perform it.
Again, I would like to emphasize that your victory this year will come from the spiritual principles you are willing to engage in. Pay attention to the promptings of the Holy Spirit; heed His words through His ministers and honor them; and be sensitive to know whom you should seek counsel and guidance from. It will be your best year yet; IT GETS BETTER FROM HERE!
