“You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, and praise the name of the Lord your God, who has dealt wondrously with you; and My people shall never be put to shame.” ~ Joel 2:26
REFERENCE:
We learned of God’s promise to give us a system restore yesterday. God desires to undo whatever the enemy has done in your life and restore you to a point in your life before the enemy tampered with you or the events of your life. God can restore time, as our text shows; when He raised Lazarus to life, it was a way of resetting time to before he died.
You may ask, “If I undergo a system restore, will I lose other good things that have happened in my life along the way?” That is a valid question. Although you lost some things on the way or wish a good season of your life would return, you have also had amazing times on your journey, which you would not want to lose or trade for anything. God knows and can keep both for you.
When you perform a system restore on your computer, it fixes system issues without affecting personal files like documents or photos. It just ensures that your system returns to the point where the operating system (files) is running well and you have a good user experience. Hear this: God will keep every good thing you have now and restore every good thing you lost.
So, God can restore the finances or business opportunities you had before marriage and still ensure your wife and kids are fine. He can restore your youthful health and make sure that the wisdom of age that you have acquired is not lost. He can give you another car after the one you lost to an accident and keep the friends you made at the bus stop when you had no car. God’s system restore does not just wipe everything away to start afresh; no, it is for the better.
May God restore you to that favorable, happy, and prosperous place. If you are dealing with bereavement, He will send people that will fill the vacuum. He will restore a womb to how it was before a botched surgery or before an ovarian cyst. If the matter is from birth, God will restore you to His original factory setting. I reject whatever was not so from the beginning of your life, in Jesus’ name. May God locate a good restore point in your life and hit ‘system restore.’
