“Then I set my face toward the Lord God to make request by prayer and supplications, with fasting, sackcloth, and ashes.” ~ Daniel 9:3
REFERENCE:
Daniel 9:1-4
God has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in the heavenly places. God has finished everything you need, and it presently exists in the unseen or spiritual realm. That means that it is something you will need to secure from the spirit realm, or it is unseen because it is presently not in your possession but exists on earth. God has given us prayer as the vehicle to convey these blessings into our reality. So, if you have a desire, pray it into being.
Prayer is the key that unlocks the gates of the supernatural. For God to ‘legally’ do anything on earth, the redeemed man must partner with Him in prayer. He seeks our prayer partnership to move in the earthly realm. Nothing leaves the heavens unless prayer leaves the earth. “It seems God will do nothing on earth unless men pray,”–John Wesley.
Judah was in captivity in Babylon, and Jerusalem was desolate, but God did not wish it to last beyond seventy years. The seventy years elapsed and the status quo remained until Daniel read and saw that a promise was hanging in the spirit realm for Judah. God had opened the gate for their return, but it was in the unseen realm. Daniel understood that the promise would not fulfill itself; someone must convey it from the unseen to the seen. So, he set himself to pray.
A hunger arose in Daniel to see the fulfillment of God’s promise; he set himself to pray for twenty-one days, imploring, supplicating, and interceding with fasting, sackcloth, and ashes. It takes such a desperate hunger in prayer for promises to become reality. There are promises in the bible that are ours; they are presently unseen, but we can pray them into being by being as deliberate, determined, and dogged in prayers as Daniel. Life ultimately answers to hunger.
It matters not what your heart desires – a spiritual gift, physical need, healing, finances, etc.- if it becomes your supreme cry, not a secondary or tertiary matter but the ultimate desire or dominant quest, then you are set for a miracle. It will come if you cry to God with all your spirit, soul, and body energies. There is a promise concerning that issue; pray it into being.

PRAYER:
+ Ask God for the grace to zero in on a promise He has made to you and to give yourself to consistent demand concerning it in the place of prayer.
+ Take a particular promise or expectation you have of God and pray it into being now. Groan before God earnestly and in faith. YOU WILL TESTIFY, IN JESUS’ NAME.
It is done in Jesus Name !
