“For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God.” ~ Romans 8:19
REFERENCE:
God made man in His image and clothed him with His glory. He appointed man to deputize for Him on the earth, but he ‘fell’ and was stripped of his glory. This affected all of creation because God, in His wisdom, made creation fall, too, so that man would still retain his rulership over creation, although at a lower level of glory; otherwise, animals would be more intelligent than him.
Paul revealed to us here that creation, as we see it today, is not in the original form in which God created it. God made it perfect – the plant and animal world to show God’s glory and serve man without harming him; the inanimate world was never made for deterioration, as we see today with climate change. These are a result of man’s fall; when he fell, creation fell along with him.
There is, therefore, a silent cry in all of creation, waiting for man to step back into his glory at creation. When this happens, creation itself will be released from the bondage of the fall and function at total capacity. Our salvation is a foretaste of man’s restored glory, so nothing stops any man today from functioning as a son of God and making his world a heaven on earth.
As a born-again child of God, you are responsible for making your sphere of influence an Eden. If you have stepped into your ‘first-phase’ glory, let it show in creation around you. Let your wife, children, staff, and colleagues benefit from your glory. If you are a teenager, keep your room clean and conquer your subjects. You bear the glory and image of God; you have the power to create and govern. You are made the head; let the king in you arise; take your place.
Satan will always attempt to repeat the episode at Eden; he will do everything to derail you in your leadership responsibilities and career. He knows that if you fall from glory, everything around you will also be subjected to futility (a forced fall). Therefore, it is crucial to do everything in your power to reclaim your glory and refuse satan to take advantage of you. So much depends on you, and many people look up to you. Your fall or failure is not just about you; creation is waiting for you to succeed in life.
