360-DEGREE BLESSING

“Praise the Lord! For all who fear God and trust in him are blessed beyond expression. Yes, happy is the man who delights in doing his commands.” – Psalms 112:1 (TLB)

Some people’s lives are stories of setbacks, frustrations, and misfortunes. However, others with a similar background never seem to have any stumbling blocks and seem immune to trouble. Invisible forces are at work in both cases, defining each person’s destiny for good or evil. Deuteronomy 28 calls these forces, ‘blessings and curses.’

To be blessed means having supernatural power working for you, and being ‘cursed’ is having it work against you. The days of a blessed man are full of divine coincidences and heavenly backing. He may or may not be wealthy by the world’s standards, but he enjoys a quality of life that even rich people would envy. His life is a testimony!

God’s blessing is a 360-degree blessing. It is a complete package that permeates all areas of a man’s life, given for your utmost enjoyment. Psalm 112:1-10 unveils the man so blessed:

• He loves and reverences the Lord; he regards God’s word and runs his life by it.
• His children are blessed; his family life is intact, and his children excel in their pursuits.
• Wealth and riches are in his house. His needs are met. He does not beg.
• He is compassionate, gracious, generous, and helpful. He runs his business with discretion.
• He is safe and secure. Darkness turns to light for him, and his legacy outlives him.
• Bad news means nothing to him. He only hears, but never partakes of it, for he is exempt.
• He walks in perpetual victory over all adversaries, and their plots do not hurt him.

Abraham typified these blessings. God called and blessed him, and he who was unknown up until then became a global player. Abraham was so blessed it manifested in riches, generosity, security, righteousness (encounters with God), generational impact, perpetual greatness, contentment, long life, and obedience to God.

Like Abraham, I declare that you are blessed. You will experience God’s rich blessings, and no sorrow will accompany them. I declare that you shall know total-life prosperity, 360-degree blessings, in Jesus’ name.

I pronounce the priestly blessing over you – May the Lord bless you and keep you. May heaven and earth cooperate to make you succeed. May the blessing on your life turn every pain, misfortune, or loss into your promotion. May it bring you into a time and season when men will congratulate you, in Jesus’ name.
