Every God-begotten person conquers the world’s ways. The conquering power that brings the world to its knees is our faith. – I John 5:4(MSG)

The natural law and system of this world often fails, because the world is a fallen place; that is why we see all kinds of hardship and evil predominant in the world. As believers, we need to start moving from the natural to the supernatural. We need to operate a system or a law that is higher than the one that is prevalent around us and that system/law is “FAITH.

Faith is the power that brings the world to its knees; by it the elders got God’s approval and commendation as described in Hebrews 11. By faith Abraham received his inheritance. Sarah received strength to conceive and bear Isaac. Moses saw the future of Israel and therefore forsook the pleasures of Egypt. The walls of Jericho fell down just by encircling. By faith, Rahab the harlot did not die in Jericho with those who did not believe when she received the spies in peace, etc.

Faith is simply taking God at His word, believing it beyond your circumstances. Romans 12:3 reveals that God has given all of us a measure of faith, so we are not without it. The measure of faith you received at salvation, is enough for you to live in victory and conquer the evil that is in this world.

Faith in God can reverse your medical condition. It can end the financial famine in your life. It will stop that affliction in your marriage and can take you from zero to hero, etc.

However, faith without works is dead; faith has some corresponding actions that make it a dominant and conquering force. Find out what they are in the concluding part tomorrow.

CONFESSION
“Lord I declare right now that I believe Your word above my circumstances. Heaven and earth will pass away but your word remains. I superimpose the truth of your word over the negative and unfavorable facts of my life. Like Mary the mother of Jesus I say, “Be it unto me according to your Word” in Jesus name.”
