One of His disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother said to Him, ‘There is a lad who has five barley loaves and two small fish, but what are they among so many?’ – John 6:8&9
REFERENCE
John 6:4-13
Like Andrew, there are times you need a major miracle of provision, and what you see around you seems too small to even compare to the size of your need. But not so with Jesus, He only needs to see that little, or just a ray of hope to work miracles. When confronted with the same situation of not having enough to meet His needs, all Jesus did was to give thanks to God, because He knew that was the ‘formula to activating God’s power of multiplication.’
In this same manner, you should take time out to give thanks for what you have if you want to see it multiplied. Thank Him for the things that seem insignificant in your life and thank Him regardless of your circumstances.
Thanking God shows your faith is solidified in His words and that you trust Him (like Abraham). Also when you thank God, you are watering the seed of prayer you have already made; and when the heavens are full with your thanksgiving, they definitely will pour out increase on your behalf.
