Moreover the word of the LORD came to me, saying, ‘Jeremiah, what do you see?’ And I said, ‘I see a branch of an almond tree.’ Jeremiah 1:11
REFERENCE
Jeremiah 1:4-12
Seeing is an integral part of life; the only time Jesus ministered to someone twice was a case where He wanted the person to receive his sight – his ability to see (Mark 8:22-25). When your sight is dim, you make wrong choices; your progress is impeded, you become uncertain of the future and fearful in challenging times. Elisha’s servant was overcome with fear when the Syrian army surrounded them; it was only after Elisha prayed for his ‘eyes’ to be opened that he saw that they were protected by a chariot of fire. Hagar and her son, Ishmael almost died of thirst in the wilderness; it was after the angel of God opened her ‘eyes’ that she saw a pool of water nearby (II Kings 6:8-17, 21:9-19). Sure enough, the devil will like you to grope about blindly; unable to make headway in life. But, the will of God is for you to go from glory to glory.
In today’s text, God asked Jeremiah what he saw, because everything God will accomplish through a man will begin with a vision. Your vision will determine your future. Your progress in life is a function of your sight. Every success begins with a vision. A vision is the power to see ahead or to see a preferred future. It is what you have seen about yourself or your environment that keeps you alive and hopeful.
When you ‘see’ something God is showing you, possibility fills your whole being. It gives you courage to go ahead because you have seen ahead. You will dare to do what others are afraid to do and go places reserved only for champions. Suffice it to say that vision helps you to rise to your maximum potential.
So, what do you see today about life – career, family, finances, relationships, etc. Do you see possibilities or walls that hedge you in? As a believer, God’s vision about your life stems only from His Word. Therefore, look into the mirror of His Word, reflect upon the truths He has spoken concerning you, His elect, and run with that vision. It is only when you can see and conceive it in the eyes of your spirit that you can become IT!

After seeing , there is a need to immediately activate faith in order to conceive and be relentless in faith to get to delivery.
Abraham was asked to see the numerous stars; he activated faith to conceive that promise, he endured in faith/righteousness to receive the promise.
