A SEASON OF REMEMBRANCE

“Then God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the animals that were with him in the Ark. And God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters subsided.” ~ Genesis 8:1

God usually makes prophetic provision for every month; as we enter this new month, I hear God say in my spirit that this month will open a season of remembrance for you and your family. In my spirit’s eye, it was as though I saw that God was flipping open a calendar on His wall in heaven, and the name written on the new month that He opened to was REMEMBRANCE.

Noah was shut up in the Ark for about 40 days and nights while the world drowned in water. Destruction was the order of the day and everything and everyone was lost. Noah must have wondered when the rains and floods would be over and when he would not have to hope and pray for the best yet imagine the worst. But our text says, “God remembered Noah.”

The Hebrew word for ‘remember’ is Zâkar; it means to mark something in order to recognize it. Although Noah felt forgotten and lost through the storm, God says, “I remember Noah. I have placed a mark of exemption on him. The mark I placed upon him calls Me to show Him kindness and keep My promise with Him.” It’s as if angels said, “See, that’s the man, that’s the house, that’s where we are to deliver the goods, that’s the family we are to watch over, etc.”

When God remembers, it is not because He forgets you; it just means that the proper season for your breakthrough and answer has come. It means that God has brought you into focus and is ready to attend to your matter personally. God will exempt you from trouble and fulfill His promise to you as He did with Noah. When God remembered him, the waters subsided, the windows of the heavens shut, and the rain was restrained. God will calm your storms, too.

This month, the blood of Jesus will mark you for distinction, exemption, and kind consideration. God will bring you into focus and attend to your matter. In this season of remembrance, people who forgot you and your business will remember you and a kind deed of yours will be recalled and rewarded. Just as an angel was sent to Zechariah to meet a pending need, God will send you an angel. He has fixed your name to a date on His calendar to bless you this month.

CONFESSION:

This July, God will shine His light on me, bringing me into focus and making me the object of His attention and consideration. Those who have forgotten me will remember and reward me. I will receive an August visitor this month. An angel will be sent to address my pending matter. I declare that it is my season of remembrance; it is my time for a visitation; I am next in line for a miracle; my matter is next to be attended to; it is my turn for a turnaround, in Jesus’ name.
