“Now the Lord blessed the latter days of Job more than his beginning…” ~ Job 42:12
REFERENCE:
We have hope amidst life’s troubles and challenges because God promises He will give us a better latter (end). Job 8:7 says, “Though your beginning was small, yet your latter end would increase abundantly.” God is never intimidated by your present condition, whether marked by insufficiency, struggles, or life’s challenges; He will work out a good end.
Job is a case study of God’s commitment to working to give us an end better than our beginning. Throughout the scriptures, we hear words like, “The path of the just man shines brighter and brighter,” “from glory to glory,” and “the end of a matter is better than its beginning.” If God gets involved in a man’s life, He works to make things better. He is a God of good endings.
Job suffered much personal tragedy. If you met him at the beginning or middle of the book of Job, you would think his case was hopeless, but God intervened. God arranged events around Job’s life to ensure that he ended better than he started; He restored his family, friends, wealth, business, cattle, etc., and God gave him beautiful children until he was twice as rich as before.
This second half of the year, God will compensate for the losses, delays, failures, and setbacks that may have characterized your first half. Your errors will have no permanent damaging impact on your life or whatever else concerns you. God will remember and visit you to give you and your family a testimony. Don’t let what you are going through blind you to where you are going. A better latter is in store for you. God has given angels marching orders; it will soon spring forth.
Your latter will be more blessed this year. You will end the year better than you started. The Lord will give you present victories in the place of past failures. Though your January was small, your December will increase with great abundance. God will open a door of unstoppable supply to you, and you will recover from the disappointment of previous months; He will make it up for you. It matters not where you are and how you started; your latter will be better this year.
