“You have heard that it was said to those of old, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.” ~ Matthew 5:27-28
REFERENCE:
Matthew 5:21-22; 27-28; 31-35 & 43-44
God created the heavens and the earth with His spoken words. Genesis 1:3 says, “Then God said, “Let there be light…” verse 4 says, “And God saw the light….” The Almighty God shaped His world with words; He changed what was unpleasant to a beautiful sight with spoken words. He made us in His image as speaking spirits to alter our negative situations with what we say.
God gave us authority over all He created – “Have dominion over fish, birds, cattle, etc., and subdue them.” He has made us kings and priests that we should reign on the earth, and speaking is the primary way to express our authority. Solomon said, “Where the word of the king is, there is power.” When you don’t like what you see, change it with your power – words.
Jesus shows a good pattern in our text. When He said, “You have heard it said of old…but I say….” He meant that there is an existing pattern, but I exercise My authority and change that pattern by what I say. I am suspending the old order and instituting a new one with My words. “It was like so before…but I SAY, I SAY, I SAY.” That is authority speaking; that is how you can rule, subdue, and dominate your world. What has always been around you? But what are you now saying?
When you learn to say, “I SAY…” you will recreate your world and redefine your reality. You will look at chaos, darkness, or sickness and say order, light, and health. Creation did not end on the seventh day; God only rested; we are to continue. As kings in authority, we legislate, make decrees, reverse verdicts, establish patterns, set spiritual boundaries and protection around our family, and enforce God’s kingdom in our lives and jurisdiction with “I SAY.”
Can you identify an old order, pattern, or fear around you? Is there something you see in your life, marriage, or children that you do not like? Is’ darkness’ gaining ground in your career or business? Put on your crown, stand in authority, and begin to say, “It has been like so for some days, weeks, months, or years, BUT I SAY, it shall now be favor, blessings, health, provisions, laughter, progress, abundance, strength, etc.” You will have what you say.

PRACTICE:
Look at patterns you would like to see change around you; then take your stand in faith, assume your position of authority, open your mouth and say in boldness. Don’t stop after today; keep saying it. Very soon, like God, you will see what you say, that it is good.
Creation did not end on the 7th day, God only rested; we are to continue!!!!!
All things work together for my good in Jesus name.
Hallelujah! What a privilege! I Say and will have what I say!
