CHOSEN FOR ROYALTY

“But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.” ~ I Peter 2:9

I often wonder how David felt when he was summoned home from the field while herding his father’s sheep that the prophet Samuel asked for him. Upon getting home, Samuel said he was chosen to be Israel’s king and anointed him. Like David, God has chosen you and for royalty. You are a peculiar treasure and special breed, clothed with God’s glory and His image on earth.

Paul told the Corinthians, “For you see your calling, brethren, that not many wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called. But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise…” That’s how God sees you; He chose you despite your lack of beauty, riches, or dignity, and the objective is to turn you into a royal priest (which means you can both offer acceptable sacrifices to Him and minister with His authority on earth).

You are not mass-produced, and you are different from the ungodly. You reflect God’s glory and wear a crown of royalty. Satan saw Paul in Jesus’ class when he said, “Jesus I know, and Paul I know.” Walk around with the consciousness that you are chosen for royalty. God is committed to you and has all the privileges of royalty available to you: authority, prosperity, dominion, and divine immunity. Don’t make or regard as ‘common’ anyone that God has called sanctified – Acts 10:15

God chose Israel in a howling desert, Gideon while he hid in a cave, Saul as he sought lost donkeys, and Mary, a hitherto unknown virgin, to be the mother of Jesus Christ. You are the elect of God, chosen and reserved for special tasks, missions, and opportunities. You will soon be called to chair a government committee, head a department, or execute a multimillion-dollar project. Don’t disqualify yourself; God has chosen and qualified you.

You are God’s choice to be His reflection and brand representative on earth. You are qualified to have a good life, joy, peace, wellness, wholeness, prosperity, and a godly and goodly spouse. You are chosen and loved by God; do not let satan bind you with deception and depression. You are unique and supernatural. You are a rare species, designed to function like God and chosen for royalty. May your life begin to reflect your status and placement in God, in Jesus’ name.

PRAYER:

+ Lord, do something great in my life that does not correlate with my background, gender, or qualification.
