Twelve lions stood there, one on each side of the six steps; nothing like this had been made for any other kingdom – I Kings 10:20

Today’s business environment is given to sudden changes. Organizations rise up and fall faster these days than in the past because of the changing tastes of consumers. Therefore, people are now coming up with new and creative ideas every day in order to satisfy the demands of their customers so they can stay in business. Hence, creativity is premium if you must rule in the market place – where you ply your trade.
Creativity is simply the use of the imagination in the production of something. God through His Spirit created everything we see from the beginning, and Solomon followed in His footsteps by creating things that were never seen in any other kingdom before. Do you know where he got the inspiration/wisdom to do that?
Job 32:8 says, “There is a spirit in man, and the breath of the almighty gives him understanding.” Solomon was inspired by God. And as believers that have the Spirit of God within us, we can engage our imagination to create things that will keep us relevant in the market place and cause kings (e.g., Queen of Sheba) to search us out as they did Solomon, because creativity attracts.
To be creative we must engage our minds to think out of the box, constantly reappraise our strategies, brainstorm ideas with others, and get exposed by reading, listening and watching what others are doing so our ideas don’t become obsolete.
God gave us brains to think and come up with novel ideas that will astound the world, thereby showing His many sided wisdom. Put it to profitable use!
Genesis 1:1-3, Psalm 45:1 & Ephesians 3:10a
Pray that God will fertilize your brain so it can think and come up with ideas that will always be relevant for your market place. Also speak life to every brain cell that has been lying dormant, command them to function to full capacity.
