Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.” Colossians 2:15
REFERENCE
Colossians 2:13-15
Through Jesus’ death and resurrection, He broke every curse, stopped the unchecked reign of Satan over you, gave you all-authority, set you on a throne, gave you a scepter of authority and made you a light for the world… A light that lights men’s lives and which darkness cannot comprehend. Therefore, you must make it your aim to demonstrate the victory of Jesus in every area of your life. To demonstrate is “to clearly show the existence or truth of something by giving proof or evidence.” It is a VERB – A DOING WORD!
God is not pleased with the picture of a weak, beggarly and suffering saint. He wants His children to know and show redemptive realities; to come into their own. He has made us kings and priests and we must walk conscious of the victory that is already ours.
I want you to become tired of trailing life behind, envying sinners, hoping someone you know will be in power before you can prosper, not having enough, borrowing, etc., and determine that you will have better outcomes in this life. Put pressure on yourself- your faith in God, bible study and prayer. Launch out into the deep. Stand rigidly on the Word until you experience the benefits of the cross.
The Holy Spirit within you will teach you how to birth your redemptive rights; attune yourself to Him. As darkness covers the world, people will be looking for answers, rays of hope, and rays of light. You are the light of the world… don’t hide your light under a bushel of excuses (about your weaknesses). Stand up and cooperate with the Spirit of God to diminish the darkness around your sphere of influence.
You must demonstrate the victory of Jesus by solving problems, touching lives, manifesting the many sided wisdom of God to the world, ruling over principalities and powers, etc. When the devil tries to oppose your kingship, make him understand that you will not concede defeat because you already have the victory. So repel his attacks from a standpoint of victory with all boldness, rather than appear like someone who is still fighting to get the victory.
