Diligence can make a man that has been labelled a failure excel and prosper exceedingly, it can revive a dying business and it can restore the lost passion of a dry and tasteless marriage. It will turn a mistake in your life into a miracle. It will take an ‘F’ student to the honor roll and it will make an employee get promoted on his job many times over his colleagues.

You cannot zone out or give up on a diligent man, because diligence is a force that will propel him above the limitations of his life, above the conditions around him, the ill-luck of his background and the rut of poverty that presently binds him.

Merriam-Webster dictionary defines ‘Diligence’ as steady, earnest, and energetic effort. It means putting persistent effort; being steady and maintaining enthusiasm in the effort undertaken to accomplish a task or goal. If you must walk into your wealthy place, you need to learn diligence. You have to be someone who can stay with something for as long as it takes until you see the results you hope for or has been promised by God.

If you are willing to wait forever, then you won’t have to wait for too long. A lot of people get tired and impatient just when what they’ve invested in for so long is about to yield results. Can you keep at something long enough until it yields results?

A diligent man is not a sprinter; he is a long-distance runner. He does not easily give up because things are contrary around him. His diligence changes everything around him and his diligence eventually pays off.
