“…“Do not be afraid. Stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, which He will accomplish for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall see again no more forever. The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.” ~ Exodus 14:13-14
REFERENCE:
A new month has begun. It does not matter what your experience has been up until now; God will show up for you and set things right. The word I hear in my spirit as we journey into this month is DIVINE INTERVENTION. Divine intervention means divinity will shake hands with humanity, and the supernatural will take over the natural. God will arise on your behalf.
Divine intervention is what you need when you have exhausted all your options. You need it when your expectations require a miracle, or no human means can help you. We all desire to experience progress; nobody wants to remain in a spot for too long. Certain patterns will remain unmoved until God steps in. You need divine intervention to get pregnant, pay that debt, break free from the binding habit, and escape from that impossible situation.
The Israelites found themselves in an impossible situation. They were newly freed slaves with battered self-esteem and no military experience. As they voyaged to their Promised Land, their master, Pharaoh, and his army came after them to re-enslave them. Sadly, they faced an impassable sea while Pharaoh’s army was hot on their heels. There was no escape; their newfound freedom seemed dead on arrival. They needed divine intervention.
Although Israel was weary from journeying in the wilderness, pursued by Pharaoh, and faced with the Red Sea, they were not stuck or stranded. Their dire circumstances could not limit the power of God. God stepped in and did the unusual: He separated Israel and the Pharaonic army with pillars of cloud and fire between them. Then, He caused an east wind to blow all night and parted the Red Sea. He drowned the Egyptians in it when they attempted to cross.
God said He would fight for Israel, and they would never see the Egyptians again. By His divine intervention, He made it good. This month, divine intervention will stop the Egyptians from pursuing you or trailing your life; the Red Sea that has resisted you will part, and you will enter into your promised land. You will see God’s mighty hand at work and have a testimony this month.
