Now the man Moses was very humble (modest, meek & self-effacing), more than all men who were on the face of the earth. – Numbers 12:3 (AMP).
REFERENCE
Numbers: 12:1-8
The Lord was able to fight and speak on Moses’ behalf. In fact He spoke to him face to face and plainly and allowed him to see His form because Moses was a very humble man. He was unassuming and gentle, he was plain and open before God and the Bible says “God gives grace to the humble.”
God knew there was no way Moses would take His glory to himself, which was why He revealed Himself most plainly to Him. To have a deep and intimate relationship with God, we should learn to be humble and subservient; we should die to self and forget about our reputations, but rather seek God’s reputation.
When we humble ourselves before God, we will seek and be open to Him in all our dealings; thereby telling Him that He is important to us and we need Him to live.
Have a blessed week ahead!
