“But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day to save many people alive.” – Genesis 50:20
REFERENCE:
Evil is constantly in this world with us. Sometimes, we get affected by its viciousness so that the saint can go through unpleasant seasons. People often ask, “Why do bad things happen to good people?” We live in a world where the devil runs the show. However, the good thing is that we serve a God who can turn evil to good. Joseph’s life is a testimony of God’s faithfulness.
James said, “God tempts no man with evil.” Evil is the handwork of the devil. He took Joseph through the grind and almost crushed his spirit and faith in God, but God had a higher purpose for Joseph. Joseph would deliver Israel. Also, Ruth lost her husband, but it became her passage into the Messiah’s lineage. Satan plans evil to weaken or destroy us, but God achieves His will through it; He uses it to prepare us to serve a greater purpose. I see evil turn into good for you.
Prompted by satan, Joseph’s brothers unknowingly tried to truncate Joseph’s destiny. They did the most detestable things against him, and he could have seen them as foes, but he knew better. He put things in proper perspective. Your colleagues, boss, business competition, family, etc., may do things you consider unfair and unjust to you. Don’t get bitter; it is the devil. Know that we serve a God who can turn evil into good. Out of the eater will come something to eat.
Evil can turn to good if you keep your eyes on God, which the devil detests. He wants you to see people and blame them for what you might be going through; don’t fall for it. Jesus said, “An enemy did it.” Joseph looked at everything his brothers did through the eyes of God and saw that God even worked through it to make him a savior of nations and generations.
Life can throw tough and trying times at us. Still, we must never lose sight of the fact that God has a higher purpose and will use the situation to train us to be saviors, helpers, and a light of hope for many. There is never a night in your life that you are not under God’s watchful eyes; neither is there any scheme of man too mean to keep you from God’s help. Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. I decree any evil around you to turn to good.

PRAYER:
Lord, I see You through the unpleasant experience(s) around me. I may not understand the ‘why’ of everything, but I trust in Your love and mercy. Therefore, I thank You for making everything turn around for my good. Even what the enemy meant for evil has shifted in my favor. “For all, You have done and will do for me; I sing hallelujah to You.” I see evil turning into good.
Faith is everything.
I need faith that is firm, faith that does not fail.
Unwavering faith that looks beyond the present evil and knows that it will be GOOD.
Hallelujah!
