Show that you are my followers by producing much fruit. This will bring honor to my Father. – John 15:8 (ERV)
REFERENCE
John 15:1-8
God planted you in this world so you can be fruitful in your sphere of influence. God’s first words to mankind at creation are, “Be fruitful and multiply” (Gen 1:28). That means, God has programmed in every man, the capacity to bring forth fruits , else He will be a wicked God to demand from you what you do not have the capacity to give.
To be fruitful is to produce fruits or to be fertile; to produce good or helpful results. Infertility or unfruitfulness is not in the original plan of God. A fruitful life therefore as a Christian is first, a life that manifests itself in the fruits of the Spirit; and then living an impactful life – being a blessing to others.
Fruitfulness is not limited to bearing children. The Bible talks about the fruit of your lips, hands, thoughts (Jer. 6:19), etc. God wants you to prosper in all departments of your life, because when you are productive, it gives Him glory.
A tree’s fruits are not meant for it, but for others. Therefore, do not be content with a fruitless life that does not make any difference or solve problems. Determine to live a fruitful life, because the “usefulness of your life is in your fruitfulness.”
To have all-round fruitfulness, abide in Christ and let His Words abide in you.
