For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV)
REFERENCE
Jeremiah 29:11
After man fell in the Garden of Eden, Jesus came to reinstate him into God’s original plan. If God went to the extent of sacrificing His only Son just to achieve this, you can without a doubt flourish (succeed) in every area of your life as a believer, purchased by the blood of Jesus. So you don’t have to settle for failure (John 10:10b).
Good parents want their children to do well in life, and great manufacturers want their products to perform favorably in the marketplace. Likewise, the thoughts of God your Father toward you are good and He wants you to thrive and do very well – bloom & flourish in life for His name’s sake; little wonder He equipped you with all you need to achieve success on this side of eternity.
God has so much to do through the believer here on earth. He, therefore, wants you to see yourself the way He sees you – not as a chicken that buries its head down pecking and feeding from the dirt of life – but as an eagle that flies high in the skies, above all limitations and impediments.
To attain the good life God desires for you on earth, firstly, you must see yourself the way God sees you – as someone who has God’s divine backing to succeed. This would make you live to your full potential. Secondly, you must be willing to pursue your dreams to the fullest with everything God has bestowed on you; push yourself to the zenith and rise above the status quo.
Thirdly, constantly draw from the power of the Holy Spirit who is on earth as your helper. Submit to His leadership because He is the smartest person on earth who can reveal deep secrets to you. Finally, stand on the Word of God; no believer can live a truly successful life without being a sincere student of the Word of God. Note, however, that the Word can only yield results if it is firmly rooted in your heart and generously mixed with faith.
You are God’s handiwork empowered to thrive, it brings Him great glory when you do (John 15:8a).
