God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble. – Psalm 46:1
Trouble is anything that gets you worried and agitated; it normally brings discomfort, inconvenience, anxiety, fear and discouragement.
In John 16:33 Jesus said: “…In this world, you will have tribulation, but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world.” So whether you expect it or not trouble always comes, but you can rejoice in the truth that Jesus HAS (past tense) already overcome the troubles in the world for you and stripped it of its power to harm you.
Many Christians don’t want to come to terms with the fact that trouble comes, maybe because they don’t know or weren’t told, so when trouble shows up, we see Christians that backslide, stop attending church or sometimes even abandon their faith completely. In their hearts, they are like…”God, why did You allow this to happen to me? Why me? I didn’t bargain for this…”
Nobody bargains for trouble, it is not God’s will for you, but it comes anyway. However Jesus is always present to help you overcome any trouble because He is your refuge and strength. His plans for you never changes no matter what happens, so if you don’t give up, you will see Him on the scene, more especially when it looks like you are helpless and have run out of options.
TODAY, BE STILL TO KNOW THAT AS GOD BE FOR YOU, NO TROUBLE CAN WIN AGAINST YOU!
May you enjoy TOTAL victory against TROUBLE this Thursday!
Romans 8:31-39, 1 Peter 5:7 and Nahum 1:7.
“I am an overcomer in Christ Jesus, therefore I declare by the help of God, I will be the last man standing against the trouble that has come to test my faith. I won’t be cowered but will stand until I see the goodness of God in this land of the living in Jesus name. Amen!”
