“For thus says the LORD: After seventy years are completed at Babylon, I will visit you and perform My good word toward you, and cause you to return to this place.” ~ Jeremiah 29:10
REFERENCE:
Time is one great gift that God has given to man. Time has helped man to plan, set goals, and make appointments, and it has been exchanged for money severally. Man can achieve much and become anything he sets his heart to do with time and in time. However, time is one of man’s greatest sources of frustration because he cannot hasten, delay, or control it. God is the only one who can control time; He is not bound by time because He lives out of time and is eternal.
When the Israelites went into captivity in Babylon, God set a time for their release – 70 years. The countdown started when their captivity began, and the clock started ticking. There is nothing you are going through that does not have a time limit set for it. God sets and keeps appointments; He will keep His appointment with you in your current situation.
When Job lost everything, it seemed that all was over for him; it seemed God had turned His back on him, and he may never recover from his setback. However, there was a day set for Job’s turnaround; it did not look like it in the physical, but God was working for Job’s testimony. I imagine God saying to Job while he cried and despaired, “Job, it will soon be time to laugh.”
Satan may have stopped your job, set you back in business, broken your relationship, or taken your loved one, and he is saying, “You are stuck in this defeat.” Don’t be intimidated; satan does not have the right to keep you longer than God’s timing for that situation allows. Each day draws you closer to your breakthrough. The clock is ticking, “It will soon be time!”
You may wonder, “How long do I wait?” Wait until your time comes. Every season has an end date appointed for it. God did not miss His appointment with Sarah regarding Isaac, nor did He miss His appointment with the Israelites about their release from captivity in Babylon. Men may taunt you, wondering why things are how they are; don’t worry, it will soon be time.
