Then Elisha said, “Hear the word of the Lord. Thus says the Lord: ‘Tomorrow about this time, a seah of fine flour shall be sold for a shekel, and two seahs of barley for a shekel, at the gate of Samaria.'” – 2 Kings 7:1
REFERENCE:
Although God lives in eternity, He works in time to change mankind’s situation. No matter what you are going through, you will wake up one day and discover that it has become a thing of the past. Everything with a beginning has an end; this is why the prophet could tell Israel that the famine they had experienced for three and a half years would turn tomorrow.
Prophecies speak of things in the future, but Elisha’s prophecy referred to the future as just going to be the next day. It is absurd to think a three-year-old problem ‘will turn tomorrow.’
Yet, that was what God did. A devastating famine had destroyed the vegetation and crippled the economy, so when Elisha said it would turn tomorrow, the King’s economic adviser or minister of finance said it would be impossible, even if God were to open windows in heaven.
Do not blame the finance minister; for such a turnaround to happen, there would have to be rainfall for at least three months following a season of planting, then a time of harvesting and processing before there could be a drop in the price of commodities. Yet, God had spoken, “It will turn tomorrow,” and that was what it would be. Let all men be liars, but let God be true.
God turned Israel’s economy around in a most ridiculous and unexpected way, using the most unqualified and despised people—aged lepers. It happened at twilight when the sun set, shops closed, and hope was lost. With God, it is never too late to have a turnaround in your life, career, relationship, or finances. You may be in the twilight of your life or career, but while men are ready to go to sleep, God stays awake and watches His words to perform them.
I prophesy that “It will turn tomorrow!” God is the same God today. It is not over yet; although all the odds are stacked against you, God will give life to what is dead, restore what is lost, give you victory where you once failed, and open a door that has been shut against you. I pray that your turnaround will come tomorrow; God will ensure it. Will it be in 24 hours? For someone, yes, but for another, at a ‘*Kairos’ time, that will be the most fitting time for your turnaround.
*Kairos is a Greek word that loosely means ‘The time that God has appointed for an event.’

CONFESSION:
I walk by faith in God’s Word; my present reality does not move me. I believe and confess that God is working on my matter, and tomorrow, He will turn things for my good. In a little while, He will visit me in my twilight moment and give me a unique testimony in Jesus’ name.
