“Now indeed, Elizabeth your relative has also conceived a son in her old age; and this is now the sixth month for her who was called barren. For with God nothing will be impossible.” – Luke 1:36-37
REFERENCE:
Think about today’s topic: nothing is impossible. That is the truth; what we call impossible today is because, in the first place, God fabricated the seen world out of the unseen. Hence, for such a God, nothing will be impossible – absolutely nothing. This is a good mindset with which to approach the challenges of life. Nothing is impossible, unsolvable, irredeemable, etc., with God.
God has the power to make the impossible possible. The Bible records instances when God did things eyes had not seen nor ears heard. The conception of the Virgin Mary was one of such. It seemed incredible, and even Mary herself wondered at the possibility of such a thing. Still, the angel Gabriel responded to her, “When God is involved in a matter, nothing is impossible.” God can.
Gabriel told Mary of Elizabeth’s conception to show her that nothing is impossible with God. Elizabeth was old and barren, yet God gave her conception. Your case is not impossible; God can fix it. Peter toiled all night and caught nothing. Job lost everything and could have died lonely and poor. A woman had an incurable irregular menstrual flow for twelve years. Lazarus’ coffin was already closed, and the funeral service concluded, but God turned it all around.
All these people were in a bind and facing impossible situations, but God came through and turned things in their favor. They saw no hope of reversal, restoration, or redemption, but God did the impossible. He turned their mourning into dancing. How could it be medically explained that Elizabeth, at 88 years old (as some historians believe), would give birth to a child?
Your case is no different; it might seem impossible, but nothing is impossible with God. Stretch out your faith in God again over the issue, and He will turn it. You are not too old. It is not too late. Your case is not so bad. The negative report is not the final verdict. You are not doomed because of that last rejection. You have not failed.” God can and will turn things around.
