SPEAKING RIGHT WORDS

Joshua 14:6-12

The things you say can either kill or make (faith) alive. Your mouth and the words you speak hold the keys to the door of your future, prosperity, experience, etc. the earlier you start speaking the right words i.e. God’s words even when nothing around you points to that, the faster the manifestation of those things you have been saying.

As leaders in one capacity or the other (e.g. children’s church teacher, home fellowship leader, team leader, team member, etc), the words you speak can affect the faith of the people you lead like was inferred in today’s passage. Imagine that the words of the 10 lily-livered spies caused the hearts of the people to become faint and so they couldn’t enter the promise land at God’s appointed time for them. Because, People generally look up to their leaders, the words they speak matter to them.

Anything short of speaking faith filled words equals doubt, and doubt destroys lives, it weakens faith in God and the faith of the people you lead; also, it places a limit on God. But like Caleb today, let your faith in God spur you to speak faith filled words that are divinely inspired by the Holy Spirit.

WE HAVE BEEN GIVEN THE CHOICE TO SPEAK LIFE OR DEATH WITH OUR WORDS, SO WHY NOT CHOOSE LIFE?
