We were able to establish from yesterday, that the 2nd thing you need to do in order to be successful, is to ‘HAVE AND PURSUE GREAT DREAMS.’ This sounds like what any motivational speaker would recommend; yes, they can tell us steps to take to arrive at success assuming life was based just on the physical realm. But as it is, there is a spiritual part that supersedes the physical and that is where we operate from.
This takes us right to our 3rd point in achieving success in life, which is: ‘OPERATE IN THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.’ The spiritual realm dominates the physical realm because all we see came from what was unseen (spirit realm). Thus, being successful also has its foundation in the spirit realm – if you succeed there, you will succeed physically too (marriage, finances, business etc).
No matter how good and colorful your dreams are, you have to reach in to draw power from the Spirit to see those dreams come to fruition, because “It is not by might or by power but by the Spirit…” (Zechariah 4:6). This is why we notice a difference between believers, while some succeed, others fail. The ones who succeed are the ones that reach in to draw power (i.e. they yield to the Spirit’s leading), they are usually on top of situations around them and they don’t quit in the face of challenges, but rather they stand strong till they see the victory because the Spirit empowers them.
It was through the empowerment by the Spirit that Samson tore a lion into pieces, Elijah called down fire on those who posed a threat to his ministry and Peter the coward began to heal with his shadow. He can do much more through you!
