Today, we conclude on this series we started on Monday. The last and final point to achieving success in life is: ‘STAND ON THE WORD OF GOD.’ Our passage says ‘you should put on a protective shield of the armor of God because the devil is looking for an unprotected area to attack you from.
Have you ever experienced success in certain areas of your life that didn’t last? True success is not just succeeding for a while but maintaining your success for all time.
The devil would always want to resist your success as a believer, that is why you have been handed this weapon of the word to take care of any onslaught he may launch against you. The word is described as the sword of the Spirit, this means for every situation you face, the Spirit knows the right word to hand you to use. It is also an offensive weapon, so you can defend yourself with it by wielding it always.
Do note however, that the word can only produce result if it is firmly in your heart and has been mixed with faith. No believer can live a truly successful life without being a sincere student of the word of God; the devil who is an enemy of progress (success) knows that, that is why he tries to keep you as far away as he can from the word. Resist him by planting doses of the word in your heart and speaking it out always.
The word of God is a solid weapon that ties all the other points we have talked about together. So ‘see yourself as successful,’ ‘have and pursue great dreams,’ operate in the power of the Holy Spirit,’ and in all, ‘stand on the word of God.’ YOU WILL GO FROM ONE LEVEL OF SUCCESS TO ANOTHER AS YOU DO IN JESUS NAME.

– Using the word as your sword, vehemently come against the enemy of progress that would want to hinder and resist your success in different areas of your life.
– Glorify God because His plans for your success can not be thwarted.
