“And he arose and came to his Father. But when he was still a great way off, his Father saw him and had compassion, and ran and fell on his neck and kissed him.” ~ Luke 15:20
REFERENCE:
We left off with the prodigal son engaging in critical thinking; he then proceeded to execute his actions steps. When he did what he could do, grace took over, and he got more than he planned for. You may have tried before and failed; try again! Now, are you nearer than when you first began? This may be your year. The day you took the first step toward your goal, you got closer to it than when you first dreamt of it, and with every step, you have moved closer.
The prodigal son’s decision took him to his Father. His Father represents his goal or preferred tomorrow. God is our Father, and all you seek should draw you closer to Him, for all you need is in Him. Bishop Oyedepo said, “God is all you need to have all your needs met.” He is the Father of mercy, love, and abundance. In His house, even servants have enough to eat and to spare.
His expectation was exceeded. The Father has a robe of honor and a new identity for you, but you must make a move. There is a sandal of territorial influence for you, but you must arise. There is a signet ring of spiritual authority for you, but you must reach for it. There is a fatted calf of unearned and supernatural provision for you – a prepared blessing, but you must arise.
God is preparing you for a better place He has prepared for you. There is a great future ahead of you – people to mentor, depths in God to reach, gifts to manifest, miracles to see, etc. Don’t resign to fate; don’t settle for less than God showed you; you are on a collision course (a trajectory that will cause two objects to strike each other) with destiny and God’s goodness.
They began to be merry upon the son’s return. God has celebration in store for you this year, and you will get your robe, sandal, signet ring, and fatted calf, in Jesus’ name! God will give you a new name; you will take new territories, gain speed, and cover new grounds. You will regain lost opportunities. God will promote, honor you, and increase your influence and authority.

CONFESSION:
By the grace of God, I will get more than I bargained for as I take steps to be better. I will step into a season of supernatural provision. In whatever way I have been displaced from what is rightfully mine, there shall be a replacement with something bigger, better, and richer. I will end this year better than I started. I deserve better. I will do better. I will think better. I will be better, and I will have better, in Jesus’ name.
