THE BLESSED TRIBE

“He also brought them out with silver and gold, And there was none feeble among His tribes.” ~ Psalm 105:37

David gives a brief account of the exodus of Israel from slavery in Egypt into their Promised Land. It reveals God’s special regard for His people and the unusual acts of grace and power displayed toward them. After over four hundred years in slavery, they left with gold and silver, a feat never heard of, and none was feeble amongst them; they were a blessed tribe.

The Israelites were so blessed that they witnessed the manifestation of God’s power like no other people group on earth. They saw the glory of God, were fed with angel’s food, got water from a rock, and inherited plantations they did not plant, houses they did not build, and wells they did not dig. They went from being so impoverished and subdued to becoming so blessed.

We, believers, have a better covenant than the Israelites through Christ Jesus. He wants to do much more than He did for Israel, you, and me. He does not want you in slavery to anything or any man. He wants you out of the land of not enough, begging and borrowing, squatting all over town, looking to others to meet your needs, working with little to show for it, and the land of fear, captivity, and bondage. He wants you to take you into the land of more than enough.

You belong to the tribe of the Lion of Judah – Jesus, and it is a blessed tribe. In that tribe, our God supplies our needs according to His riches in glory; he is our insurance cover from life’s calamities; He restores us when life has beaten and bruised us, and according to Psalms 66:12, “You have caused men to ride over our heads; We went through fire and through water; But You brought us out to rich fulfillment,” His ultimate plan for you is freedom from this world’s Egypt.

The city of our blessed tribe is called “Rich Fulfillment.” That is where God has brought you to; look to and lean on Him. You may have suffered shame, lack and want, and all kinds of untold hardship through the years, but you are part of the blessed tribe. You will partake of God’s rich gifts, and your days of servitude to satan are over. You will see miracles of provision, protection, preservation, and peace. Your story will end better than it started, in Jesus’ name. I prophesy your exit from every Egypt of hardship; I welcome you to the land and season of rich fulfillment.

PRAYER POINTS

+ I come out of every Egypt of bondage, fear, and lack and enter into my Promised Land of Rich fulfillment.

+ Pray and declare by faith that the fulfillment of this promise releases joy in you that will replace the areas where weeping has endured hitherto.

+ Lord, I will partake of every blessing that comes with being a part of Your blessed tribe through Christ Jesus.
