THE ‘CAN DO’ GOD

…But if You CAN DO anything, have compassion on us and help us. – Mark 9:22

All through this week, we have learned about God’s limitless abilities, and how He is able to step in to do great things in our lives. However, it is your faith in God that connects His ability with your need. The bitter truth is God is not moved by your whining or crying; He is only moved by your faith; for without faith, it is impossible to please Him. So, replace all your worries, complaints, and cries with faith, which is, adherence to, reliance on, and complete trust in God.

Jesus somewhat felt insulted when the man in the story said to Him, “If You can do anything…help us.” He must have looked at the man and said, “If I can?” “Do you know Who you are talking to?” “Do you not know that all you see around was made by Me?” “If I can?” “Like, Seriously?” Then He put it back to the man, “If you can believe.” In other words, “My ability is not in question, but do you have faith for what you are asking for?”

There is a lot of discouragement making the rounds globally; but, you have to dust up your faith and rekindle your trust in the God who does wonders. It is said that, “God only fails when we fail to try Him.” Don’t stop trusting God, never give up on Him; He will not fail you. Remember, He didn’t fail Sarah – she bore Isaac in her old age. Neither did He fail Daniel – who was delivered from the lion’s den. Nor was any account ever recorded in the bible where God failed those who put their trust in Him.

Your challenges (no matter how massive they seem) are not beyond God’s ability. He made the heavens and the earth by His great power; therefore, there is nothing else, if it is on this earth He made, that will be too hard for Him to accomplish by His power. Let your faith continually be anchored on this truth, ‘Let God be true, but every contrary evidence about His ability a liar.’ Be rest assured; our God is the ‘CAN-DO’ God. Indeed, nothing is too difficult for Him!

PRAYER
Heavenly Father, I Thank You because, besides You, there is no other God. I renew my trust in You, knowing that those that trust in You are never put to shame. I acknowledge that nothing is too difficult for You to do, and I anchor my faith on Your faithfulness. Do much more in my life than I can ever think or imagine in Jesus’ name.
