The Lord gave the word; Great was the company of those who proclaimed it. – Psalms 68:11
REFERENCE
Psalm 68:11
Today we conclude on our theme of the week, Evangelism.
In a world of social connections and in addition to all the other ways we can evangelize, social media is one strong and powerful tool at our disposal.
Social media is not inherently moral or immoral, it is amoral. It’s usage determines whether it is good or bad. And there is no better way to use it than in spreading the gospel. God is calling you to be a modern evangelist – someone who uses up-to-date techniques & gadgets to engage people with the good news about Christ.
Jesus said the end will not come until this gospel is preached all over the world. He also said, whatever we hear Him say, should be proclaimed over the rooftop, which means ‘make it public!’ So, above every other thing you send out on your social media platforms, the gospel is one message that should be out there. When shared, it will reach and impact your numerous followers and friends scattered all over the world.
You can post a scripture, the sinner’s prayer, an inspiring word preached by your pastor, a message of encouragement etc. Don’t be ashamed to do this because of what people will say. Yes, they are likely to call you a ‘religious fanatic,’ but are you going to hide your relationship with Christ because of people’s remarks?
Join the great company that publishes the gospel today, and make heaven proud!
FLAUNT the too-good-to-be-true news in all the ways you can this FRIDAY!
