“This charge I commit to you, son Timothy, according to the prophecies previously made concerning you, that by them you may wage the good warfare.” ~ I Timothy 1:18
REFERENCE:
Every Word spoken by God is a sure word of prophecy that has the potential to produce whatever it promises. You can trust the integrity of the Word of God and the God behind the Word to do what He says. Prophecies or bible promises won’t just happen, however. It would be best to position yourself to war with prophecies until you see them manifest. You must work the Word.
What has God said to you? What prophecies, promises, or pronouncements are you standing on? God’s Word will not return to Him void but will accomplish its mission in your life. That is God’s plan. Therefore, do not settle for just quoting promises; fight for their fulfillment.
Joshua 1:8 says, “You shall make your way prosperous….” Paul told Timothy to wage ‘the good’ warfare with the prophecies made about him. You have a part to play in bringing the Word to pass in your life – war with the Word, promise, or prophecy until it comes to fulfillment. How?
1. Believe the Word: Believe the Word spoken by God’s servants as His Word to you. When Elisha prophesied a 24-hour fall in food prices after three years of inflation and famine, one economic expert said, “…even if God opened the windows of heaven, it was impossible!” When the Word came to pass, he did not partake of it. Do you believe? (II Chronicles 20:20).
2. Declare the Word: Speak the prophetic Word over your life and situations; “Be it unto me according to your Word.” Do not speak your situation; speak your destination. Do not talk about your reality; talk about your revelation, not what you are going through, but where you are going.
3. Obey and Make it Happen: Take action steps to trigger the fulfillment of the prophetic Word in your life. You can also make the same happen for someone else at a level you can. If you have received a word for joy, you can do something to make someone joyful. Jesus said in Matthew 7:12 – “Whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them….”
4. Birth it in Prayer: Some forces resist the fulfillment of the prophetic Word. “For a great and effective door has opened to me, and there are many adversaries” (I Corinthians 16:9). You must war in prayers against them. The prophecy of Israel’s release after 70 years of captivity elapsed, until Daniel, through intense prayers, effected their release. In response to His prayers, God sent Cyrus to end their captivity.
God’s Word rarely finds fulfillment without your active participation in the practices listed above. Take them like arrows in your quiver or bullets in your gun and war with prophecies.

TO DO
Wage ‘a good’ warfare by praying and making bold declarations with every prophetic Word God has given you this year; affirm that they will manifest in your life today and the days to come.
Your revelation is your reality, talk about it!
Wow! Whatever you talk the most about is what is real to you.
