“By faith Sarah herself also received strength to conceive seed, and she bore a child when she was past the age, because she judged Him faithful who had promised.” – Hebrews 11:11
REFERENCE:
The ‘Work in progress’ sign is often seen on construction sites. It assures one that an uncompleted, not-so-desirable-looking building is not yet at its best; it shall see better days. You may sometimes feel like that uncompleted building – all concrete, but no paint, openings, doors, trusses but no roof, bathrooms with no bathtubs, etc.; you look and wish things were better than they are, but God is still working. You bear an unseen sign on you: work in progress.
For 89 years, Sarah must have felt the same way, wondering if she would ever be a completed project. When would she have a child? How long would she be praying for the same thing? However, Work was in progress. God was not done; He would still put ‘finishings’ on Sarah and give her a testimony that would speak for eons to come. It is not too late for you.
Just as you can’t conclude on a building where you see ‘work in progress,’ don’t conclude on yourself yet. Refuse to subscribe to the beliefs or sayings that you are too old to get employed, married, or have children. Don’t be bullied into giving up on your goals. With God, nothing is impossible; a life that looks ‘unfinished’ should not be written off because Work is in progress.
The thing about an uncompleted building is that the architect does not see what observers see; he has the building plans and 3D drawings; when he sees when he looks at the building, it is a beautifully finished building – it is only a matter of time. You may not like what you see now, and those who see you may mock you, but God, the architect of your life, has the master plan and is building according to it. You will turn out beautifully well, holding your miracle in your hand.
Sarah moved from barren to fruitful and childless to mother because she judged the Architect, God, faithful. Do you believe God will start what He has begun in your life? Can you see the ‘Work in progress’ sign that God is hanging over your life? God is at Work, dear friend; you will yet see better days, and your life will mirror the original plan in God’s blueprint for you. You will be celebrated by those who mocked you; your Isaac will come, and men will rejoice with you.

PRAYER
+ Thank God for His promises in your life, knowing He is faithful in performing all He promised.
+ Declare: I am a ‘work in progress.’ God is both the architect and builder. Therefore, I am confident that I will turn out well, and the glory of my latter shall be greater than the former.
+ I am connected to You, O Lord; therefore, I will get to my place of prominence despite the slim chances.
