Psalm 150:1-6
If you can read this, it means you have breath (Life), and because you have breath, you have another reason to thank God in this season of thanksgiving. The gift of life is a foundational blessing of God; but many don’t recognize it as such. LIFE is seen as something mundane – common for many, as such, they take it for granted because it has been freely given to them.
Imagine if God were to charge you for the oxygen you take in, would you have been able to afford it? Do you have an idea of how much people pay to be on life support machines in the hospital? God has given you the gift of life, cherish it as valuable because many had plans for what they would do in December 2017, but today they are no more. Don’t wait for something spectacular to happen in your life before you can thank God, just thank Him that you are alive!
Ecclesiastes 9:4 declares that, “…A living dog is better than a dead lion.” As long as you have life, things can turn around. There is hope for you, and you can expect that your future will be better than your past, because the path of the just shines brighter…
There is a Yoruba adage that says, “If you do something good for someone and the person never comes back to thank you, it feels like a thief stole that thing from you.” The truth is, your life is a billboard, a testimony of God’s goodness, recognize this central reality and express it in thanksgiving. He who is not grateful for life will be grounded for life. It has been said that “It is only a great fool that will not be grateful.”

The God who says HE will never leave me nor forsake me, The God of a second chance hallelujah to Your Name my defense,promoter inspiral, promise keeper, the God who says a thing and no one can challenge Him , the giver of life, Who can withstand You Lord?

I have no words to express my gratitude to you O Lord, Jehovah Almighty my God. Thank you the life you have given to me, my wife and our children. Indeed you have been so good to us more than we could have ever imagined. We will praise and worship your name for as long as we live.
Lord i am thankful for life! For keeping me in my mother’s womb, for bringing me into this world, for preserving my life till this day! I do not take it for granted! Thank you Lord for not allowing childhood disease take my life, or any ailment atall..
Thank you sweet Jesus for the turn my life didn’t go, it could have been a disaster; Thank you lord for the air i breath, for every organ in my body, every muscle, every thing that gives me life!
Thank you Lord for the gift of smell, sight, sound, touch; i do not take it for granted.
Take all the glory Lord! Be thou exalted!!

Father Lord, I thank you for today. For the breaths I take in, I give you all the glory. For the assurance that as long as I breathe, there is hope, I worship you.

I am so thankful to You Lord that You have given me a rich and satisfying life; devoid of sickness and disease. Thank You because the air I breathe is free, I wouldn’t have been able to pay for it otherwise. I most especially want to thank You for giving me a life that has meaning. I REMEMBER SO WELL HOW SOME STUDENTS PULLING STUNTS WITH CARS IN MY SECONDARY SCHOOL ALMOST RAN ME DOWN WITH THEIR CAR. IT WAS SO CLOSE, I HAD CLOSED MY EYES AND WAS EXPECTING THE IMPACT….AND THEN I OPENED MY EYES AND IT WAS ALL SMOKEY DUST ALL AROUND ME. GOD HAD SPARED MY LIFE!
