“Then the Lord turned to him and said, “Go in this might of yours, and you shall save Israel from the hand of the Midianites. Have I not sent you?” – Judges 6:14
REFERENCE:
“Go in this might of yours…!” What powerful words! Dictionary defines might as great and impressive power or strength. It is force, vigor, stamina, and toughness. When the Lord said to Gideon, “Go in this might of yours,” He commissioned him for great exploits and imparted divine ability to him. He was saying to him, “Go by this commission and in the strength I impart into you to do what you know you must do. You have been equipped with My might, and I will go before you. Go and surmount obstacles that have hitherto hindered and stopped you.”
Interestingly, God called it ‘Gideon’s might’ (this might of yours), although it was God who freely imparted it to him. He wanted Gideon to know that whatever God had given him was his; he should take it and use it. By that impartation, omnipotence replaced Gideon’s impotence, strength replaced his weakness and courage took over his fear. His weakness or past failures no longer mattered when God said, “Go in this might.” He must use the anointing (spirit) of might upon him to do exploits (rout the Midianites). If God calls you mighty, believe it and act like it.
Gideon was the most obscure person in his obscure clan, but God visited him that day and brought him into focus. Do not look down on yourself when the Lord has looked upon you. The Lord will yet do things greater than you ever dreamt of in your life. If God has looked upon you, then He has made you strong. Step out by faith and exercise the power He imparted. Do not sit still or remain in hiding, waiting for the right time. Go in this might of yours!
Might was imparted to Gideon by a three-fold promise: 1. You shall save Israel. 2. Have I not sent you? (Commissioned you to do this work?) 3. Surely, I will be with you. God is saying the same to you now. 1. You will fulfill your purpose. 2. I have commissioned you. 3. I will surely be with you. Do not be ignorant of whom God has made you, what He has called you to do, and what He has imparted to you. Gideon hid because he failed to see his true value. His potential lay dormant and untapped, and his destiny was covered by clouds of fear and weakness.
Clouds don’t change the nature of the sun; the sun is stagnant, but clouds roam. May clouds covering your sun of greatness be blown away that you might shine forth as a mighty man of valor, in Jesus’ name.

CONFESSION
“I have been given might by God. So, I come out of every cave of shame and hiding. I go in this might of mine to do exploits, to conquer, and to prosper. I am not going alone; God goes with me. I will destroy all the ‘baals’ in my family line. I will confront and conquer the Midianites that once conquered me. I will take back what the thieving Amalekites stole from me. I will redeem my lost glory. I will bring honor to my family. I will end years of impoverishment. I will be a savior to my Israel – families, generations, communities, and nations, in Jesus’ name. Amen.”
Yes I will go in this might given to me by The Lord and I will fulfill His purpose for me. Hallelujah!!!
I will not forget my value and my purpose, all the clouds blocking my sun are cleared. In the Mighty NAME OF JESUS. AMENp😇🙏
