“For You have armed me with strength for the battle; You have subdued under me those who rose up against me.” ~ Psalm 18:39
REFERENCE:
David recounts the unusual victories he secured in his battles, how he pursued his enemies and overtook and wounded them until they could rise no more. He recalls his ability to run against a troop of soldiers and leap over walls, climb jagged heights like a deer, bend bronze bows to shoot arrows, and how his feet never slipped. It takes unusual strength to do all this.
How did David become so skilled in battle that he recorded such exploits and triumphs? How did a shepherd boy become a warrior-king who was bending bronze bows? God did it. David said, “He teaches my hands to make war.” David faced many life-threatening situations and enemies, but God gave him rare victories. He became assured of God’s strength in his life, so he said confidently, “For by You I can run against a troop, By my God I can leap over a wall.”
Life is full of battles and challenges, yet, many believers need help understanding this. The devil constantly fights with us; he does not go on breaks, and there are no demilitarized zones. However, God can give you uncommon victories as He did for David. You can overcome this evil adversary, satan, and all his antics. Your life can be a story of recurrent victory like David’s; you can surmount mountains, subdue oppositions, and experience God’s protective covering.
Become armed with strength by God. Seek His face in prayers, tell Him about your battles, and invite Him to fight for and through you. Take up the position of a prayer warrior in intercession and make decrees and legislations. Send forth the word of God like missiles in the spirit realm and watch mountains crumble, fears disappear, thorny events turn in your favor, and persons who actively oppose you in the office begin to court your favor in fear and humility.
God did not create you to run from trying situations. God wants you to ask Him for the strength to overcome them. Whether they are barriers to your business, walls built to stop your output, negative vibes from a lecturer, colleague, or boss, or someone who has become an impregnable wall in your path to progress, you will scale them all, for you are armed with strength by God.

HEAR THIS:
As you go out today, God will arm you with strength. You will overcome every hostility and leap over every wall. You are an overcomer; the powers that have resisted you will finally submit to you. There is a warrior in you, and you are indestructible. All the efforts and tactics of the devil to sabotage your destiny will meet with failure. You are coming out on top, in Jesus’ name.
