“Dwell in this land, and I will be with you and bless you; for to you and your descendants I give all these lands, and I will perform the oath which I swore to Abraham your father.“ ~ Genesis 26:3
REFERENCE:
Success does not happen by chance; it answers to principles I call scripture secrets to success. They are universal principles that apply to every area of your endeavor or life. True success begins inside you; if it happens first within you, you can produce it without.
SECRET 1: Vision, Dream, or Desire: All successes begin with a vision, a dream, and a desire – a vision for a better tomorrow, a dream that reaches beyond your present, and a desire to be something more than you are right now. God appeared to Isaac amidst a national economic dip and painted a vision in his heart: “I will be with you, bless you, and give you lands.”
A vision is the power to see a preferred future that provokes hope and wakes you up each morning. Isaac was ready to leave the land, but when God planted a vision and desire in his heart, a dream of a better tomorrow rose within him, and he decided to stay in the land; he saw a bright prospect. You will not see the need to work when you do not see something worth working for.
Isaac saw a vision of transgenerational success, wealth in real estate, and blessed children. God replaced the picture of ‘dying of hunger’ with ‘prospering in famine.’ What ‘pictures’ have you painted on the canvas of your heart? What do you see when you look at tomorrow? Do you think good things look good on you? Do you think you will do exceptionally well in your studies or business? Do you desire to be better than you are? That is the foundation of every success.
There are things you always dreamt you would do, places you dreamt you would go, businesses you saw yourself starting, people you saw yourself reaching, etc. Your success is locked within those dreams. Discover your dream and deploy it. Your vision determines your future, and your progress in life is a function of your sight. When God shows you a thing, you see possibility and receive the courage to go ahead because you have seen it. This is a scripture secret to success.
